Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the QR Wallet mobile app processes data, which permissions it uses, and how advertising and privacy choices work.

1. App provider

The provider of this app is:

QR Wallet App Team
Email: support@e3lanatmarket.com

2. What QR Wallet does

QR Wallet is an offline-first app for scanning, creating, saving, managing, sharing and exporting QR codes, Data Matrix codes and barcodes.

The app does not require a user account, login, Firebase account, or a custom backend server for its main functions. Codes and wallet items created or saved by the user are generally stored locally on the device.

3. Data stored locally on the device

Depending on how the app is used, QR Wallet may store the following data locally on the device:

  • saved wallet cards, titles, descriptions and code contents;
  • QR code, Data Matrix and barcode values;
  • categories, colors, designs and display settings;
  • logos or images imported by the user;
  • app settings such as language and theme preferences;
  • exported files such as images, PDF files and backup files.

This locally stored wallet data is not sent to a server operated by the app provider.

4. Camera, files, photos and Wi-Fi permissions

The app may use the camera to scan QR codes, Data Matrix codes and barcodes. The camera is used only for the scanning function.

The app may access files, photos or local storage when the user imports logos, selects backup files, exports codes, shares images or creates PDF files.

The app may use Wi-Fi related permissions to read or connect to Wi-Fi networks from Wi-Fi QR codes. On Android, some Wi-Fi functions may require location-related permissions. QR Wallet does not use these permissions to collect, store or share the user's precise location.

5. Sharing, export and backups

Users can share codes as images or PDF files and can export or import full backups. Content leaves the device only when the user actively chooses a share, save, export or import function.

Backup files with the .qrwallet extension may contain saved cards, categories, designs, images and custom logos. Users should keep these files safe and share them only with trusted people or services.

6. Advertising with Google AdMob

QR Wallet may display advertising through Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Depending on the user's region, device settings and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Google may process data for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, security and service improvement. This may include:

  • device and app information;
  • IP address and approximate location derived from it;
  • advertising ID or similar device identifiers, where available;
  • interactions with ads;
  • diagnostic and performance information;
  • consent and privacy settings.

More information is available in the Google Privacy Policy, Google's information about services on partner sites and apps, the AdMob Help Center, and Google's EU User Consent Policy.

7. Consent and privacy choices

Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland may see a consent message provided through Google's User Messaging Platform. This message allows users to choose whether and how personal data may be processed for advertising purposes.

The user's choice can affect which type of ads are shown. If the user does not consent to personalized advertising, non-personalized ads or limited ads may still be shown where legally and technically possible.

Where required, users can reopen privacy options from inside the app settings.

8. No sale of personal data by the app provider

The app provider does not sell personal data. The locally stored QR Wallet data is not transferred to a server operated by the app provider. Third-party providers such as Google may process data as described above for advertising and related services.

9. Children

QR Wallet is not directed to children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal data without the required consent, please contact us so that appropriate steps can be reviewed.

10. Deleting data

Users can delete saved cards, categories and custom logos inside the app. When the app is uninstalled, locally stored app data is usually removed from the device.

Files that were exported, shared or saved outside the app, such as PDF files, image files or .qrwallet backups, must be deleted from the location where they were saved or shared.

11. Security

The app stores user-created content locally on the device. Users should protect their device with appropriate security measures and share exported backups only intentionally, because backups may contain saved codes and logos.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if app functions, legal requirements or third-party services change. The latest version will be published on this page.
